Summer extends from April to June in the hottest season with temperature ranging from 32°C to 45°C. In western Rajasthan the temperature may rise to 40°C particularly in May and June. The main aim of this project was to install water pots in different colonies of Jaipur city and to aware people about necessity of saving birds. Increase in temperature and scarcity of water resources kills many innocent birds and this impacts our biodiversity. This proves a great disaster for biological diversity of this region. Team Raksha with the help of aware citizens of Jaipur installed water bowls in different colonies of Jaipur. Local people were made aware about the water problem. The local community took a pledge to keep these water bowls clean and to fill water in these water bowls. This activity focused on the sustainable ecosystem for birds in the project area.
